Giving Him Glory/Thankfulness

1John 3
3All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

Let’s thank Him.

Thank Him for Him, For His Son, His Spirit.
Thank Him for the Church,
Thank Him for your Life,
Thank Him for your Husband/Wife
Thank Him for your Children
Thank Him for your Brothers and Sisters and Christ
Thank Him for taking you through trials because you know it’s by His Strength you’re going to overcome
Thank Him for your family, your finances, your education, your home etc.
Just think for one moment. What has God done for you?

Some of us get frustrated when we seriously go out of our way for someone else and they don’t appreciate it. It’s like we put all this effort into that one person and they don’t care. But when some-one says “Thank You” its changes something. When was the last we said “Thank you” for something Our Father did for us or what some else did for us? We shouldn’t take Him for granted yet alone all other things people do for us.

We should thank Him for our future because we know it’s bright. He does A LOT for us and has saved us from things we don’t even know about.

He gives us the strength to get up every morning, the strength to go to work and the strength to focus, when we feel weak. Amen?

What about the opportunities that we have?

If it wasn’t for Him, we wouldn’t have what we’ve got – not that its about stuff!

He’s blesses us dearly! Give back to the Creator! Give him the Glory. No matter how small just thank Him.

We should glorify God through our lifestyle. Be a pillar of Christ wherever we go, be that shining light!

As Christians we should appreciate what we have got and even the bad stuff because we need to Thank God for giving us the strength to walk through bad situations. Trials and Tribulations we will overcome as this will build character.

I don’t know about you but I enjoy seeing people smile and having a positive impact on someone else’s life some how. You would be surprised at how far a thank you can go. TWO WORDS: nothing material. ITS FREE and it may even make someone’s day. Try it.

Just thinking…

Food for thought…
For the last couple of days my main focus has been getting to know the Holy Spirit better. Today, I was sitting on the train and thinking about Him and what people have said about Him that really stood out to me i.e. He is precious and He is beautiful.

I am currently reading this book by Benny Hinn called ‘the anointing’ and there are a few verses that really stood out. It made me think about the Holy Spirit and about the power of Prayer.

1st quote:

‘What we don’t immediately realize is that the longer we are on our knees, the less of the flesh remains. A death begins as we are on our knees. ‘Benny Hinn’

I also love this quote!

‘He longs for us to know and experience His presence and His anointing. When we are emptied of self, we will know his presence. Only then can we experience His power- the anointing of the Holy Spirit. But the trust factor is also very important. We must be faithful with what God so richly supplies’ Benny Hinn

Another quote that I like was Katherine Khulmans one. It’s amazing.

‘He’s more real than anything in the world! He’s more real than you are!’ Katherine Khulman

Stay Blessed, Jen

Waiting On God

I wrote this message a few weeks ago…and i’m glad its touching and encouraging many people. God Bless and i pray that you’re also encouraged by this message.

Waiting on God

Wait: delay: time during which some action is awaited;

Nowadays, were living in a fast moving world where everything has to be done quickly. We want everything the quick and possibly the easy way e.g. fast food, speed dating whatever, as long as it quick, possibly to satisfy our short term desires. But what about the long term? What about the saying good things come to those who wait?

The bible talks a lot about patience and endurance and waiting on God. These qualities are important in progressing in our Christian walk.

Psalm 37:34
Wait for the LORD and keep his way.

When we put God aside and put our desires first we fall. Brothers and Sisters some of us forget this very important verse.

33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)

I believe the significant word is first. We should ask ourselves: are we putting God first before we ask Him for something or our we just focusing on our desires?

Then we wonder why, we do not receive what we ask for.
Some things take time to manifest, you can’t rush perfection it takes time and the result is over whelming especially when God is in the picture. He is way too good!

One thing I love about our Father is that He surpasses expectations because He loves us. Let’s say you’re asking for one blessing, God is so good! So good that He will give us way more at His time.

Take a look: John 2
When Jesus was at the wedding, Jesus’ mother said to Jesus there was no more wine.

Jesus said
“My time has not yet come.”

This is us. We ask for something and we do not receive it because it’s not our time. Jesus was waiting for the right time, the perfect time.

Then what happened? After Jesus asked the servants to fill the jar with water and it turned to wine, the master of the banquet said:

“Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”

What did Jesus do? He served the best (not average) at His perfect time. Jesus don’t do average He does great!

The amount of people that complain that God doesn’t answer prayer requests or say ‘God took to long’ or ‘prayer doesn’t work’ it’s basically because their not patient enough. What are we expecting speed service? Let God reveal and answer us at His time.

Whenever God answers you: probably in 1 minute, next year or even 10 years, the Lord is faithful some of the people in the bible waited a long long time to get their miracle.

Some of us are not even patient, but we should mediate on bible scriptures concerning waiting and trusting in the Lord. We need to be disciplined in doing so.

So if you’re waiting for something:
If it’s according to Gods will, it will happen. We need to trust in our Father and have faith in our Father.

So if your waiting for a healing, for a prayer answer, a marriage, a house, a job, keep the faith and just wait on Him because Our God is faithful and I pray God gives you the desires of your heart according to His will at the right time.

Much Love in Christ
